It’s always nice to know you’re appreciated! With our magazine’s Real Readers Section we’ve found a way to give back to our readers while showing potential destination brides the ways in which Destination I Do can help. The section showcases real Destination I Do readers as they share their story of how our magazine has helped them.

Destination I Do magazine

Our next issue is rapidly approaching and we’re now looking for more real readers. So, attention all you dedicated followers out there! Are you currently planning a destination wedding or planned one in the past with the help of Destination I Do? If so, share your story with us and you just might find yourself gracing the pages of Destination I Do’s Fall/Winter 2011 issue.

If you’re interested in being featured in our Fall/Winter 2011 Real Readers section send the following things to courtney@destinationidomag.com by May 31st.

• A jpeg image of yourself with an issue of the magazine (it doesn’t have to be the most recent issue.)
• An explanation of how Destination I Do has helped you.
• What you did/plan to do for your destination wedding or where you went for your honeymoon. (If the location was featured in Destination I Do.)
• Your name and email address.

We look forward to seeing all of your wonderful submissions. Thanks in advance and spread the word if you know someone else who has been helped by Destination I Do Magazine. Also, don’t forget to have your materials to us by May 31st.

The Great Barrier Reef rocks!

One of the biggest perks of working for Destination I Do, in my opinion, is the amazing trips we get to go on. We don’t feature any destination or property in Destination I Do Magazine without first visiting it ourselves. This is not only great for readers who are guaranteed quality advice, but it’s great for us too! Recently, I was the lucky staffer who ultimately got chosen to go on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure down under – Queensland, Australia here I come!

I will be writing in depth about the different activities I got to do and the amazing places I stayed for Destination I Do’s Fall/Winter 2011 issue. I’m currently in the thick of things in Australia and it’s go, go, go from dusk until dawn. While it’s exhausting, I’m not complaining because I want to see and do as much as possible while in Australia. When I get back, I’ll be sure and fill you all in on some more details of my trip and share some of my favorite photos.

Until then, here are just a few of the things I’ve been doing. Like I said, stay tuned for a more in depth post about my amazing 10-day Australian adventure!

- Overnight at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat
- Glow Worm Tour
- Tour of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
- Stay and tour Hamiliton Island – Oprah stayed here!
- Travel to world-famous Whitehaven Beach by Seaplane
- Dinner cruise of Whitsunday Islands
- Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef

As you can tell, we’re up to some pretty exciting stuff here at Destination I Do Magazine. I hope you’re as excited to read about my Australian adventure in the Fall/Winter 2011 issue as I am to write about it!
